Deployment

Here we discuss deploying the app to Azure.

Alternative deployments to Heroku or Now are really easy, just follow the steps on any reputable article.

• Create an Azure Linux virtual machine
• As by default our app runs on the port 8080 , we need to allow request on this port on our virtual machine. You can learn to do this on the official Azure documentation. Note: The given tutorial suggest to create a group of rules, however when we created a virtual machine, a group of rules was created, we suggest to modify this one directly.
• Connect to your virtual machine via SSH
• Install node.js and npm:

$ sudo apt-get install nodejs
$ sudo apt-get install npm

Then simply follow the steps in the Installing tab! 👍🏻
